Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEVELYN T. DUNN (CANDY) On January 26, 2010, Evelyn (Candy) Dunn of Winnipeg, Manitoba passed away at the age of 73 years. Candy was born on December 12, 1936. She grew up on a small farm north of Edmonton, near Westlock, Alberta. Candy worked for Manitoba Telephone Systems for 31 years, retiring in October of 1992. She married Gary Dunn of Winnipeg in 1963. The two of them enjoyed many happy times visiting family in Alberta, attending Blue Bombers' football games, spending weekends at Sandy Hook, golfing, golfing, golfing, and socializing with their friends in Winnipeg. Candy and Gary retired to Kamloops, BC; however, after a brief battle with cancer, Gary passed away and Candy returned to the familiar surroundings of Winnipeg where she lived until her sudden passing. Candy is sadly and lovingly remembered by her eight sisters and four brothers: Josephine, Lou (Jan), Janine (Mel), Leo (Julie), Marlene, Joan (Joel), Jan (Ted), Helen (Reg), Bev (Bob), Frank (Carol), Fran (Bob), and Joey (Bev); and numerous loving nieces and nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Gary; brother, Edward; and Mom and Dad Biggeman. A Memorial Service will be held at Thomson In the Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 1291 McGillivray Blvd., Winnipeg, Manitoba on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. Friends are welcome to join the family for the interment in the cemetery at 1:00 p.m. Donations in memory of Evelyn (Candy) Dunn may be made to the Canadian Arthritis Society, #105-386 Broadway, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3C 3R6 THOMSON IN THE PARK 925-1120 Condolences may be sent to www.thomsoninthepark.com
