PETER HUSBAND, JR. July 18, 1967 - May 25, 2010 Passed away suddenly at home on May 25, 2010. Peter is survived by his parents, Peter and Rosalind, his sister Sue (Don Taylor), his brother Michael, nephew André and niece Ravon, his aunties Edna Kent (Bob) and Doris Grauman (Alfred), several cousins and his best buddy, Merle MacDonald. Peter attended Oakenwald and Viscount Alexander Schools and after graduating from Kildonan East Regional Secondary School with a major in photography, he worked in that field for several years. In the mid-1990s he made a career change and worked for Capri Industries, Pratts Wholesale and Tru Serv Canada Cooperatives Inc. where he was employed at the time of his death. Peter was a talented and creative person who enjoyed using his mechanical skills working around his home and yard. He will be remembered as a loyal friend, helpful co-worker and a good neighbour. The family extends their thanks to Drs. DeGroot and Hayward who looked after Peter through the years. Thanks also to the officers of the Fort Garry Office of the Winnipeg Police Service for their compassion and caring. A special and heartfelt thank you to Dennis and Merle for all their help. Cremation has taken place and in accordance with Peter's wishes no formal service will be held. From an early age Peter loved animals especially his cats Kimberley, Tiffany, Junior and Boo. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Peter's favourite charity, The Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, MB R3T 9Z9.
