FRANCIS (FRANK) JOSEPH MOREAU May 11, 1926 - June 1, 2010 Frank died peacefully in his sleep at the St. Boniface Hospital after a brief illness. He is survived by his beloved wife Muriel. His children, Bruce, Peter (Heather), Frank (Pam), Janet Gilliland, Lenore Bagot and Lisa Moreau. Grandchildren, Danielle Moychenko (Marvin), Jonathan Moreau (Angelique), Jacinda Gilliland, Lauren Bagot and Kaela Moreau. Great-grandchildren, Veronica, Nathaniel, Augustin and Geneieve Moreau. Muriel's children, whom he also dearly loved. John Oades (Darcie), Joyce Brownscombe (Richard), Lorraine Oade. Grandchildren, Richard Adam (Jeanine), Shannon Petrie (Steve), Angela Rodenburgh (Mike), Sasha Brownscombe. Great-grand-children, Sydney Adam Fair and Renee Adam. Frank was predeceased by his brother Bill Neil; sister Martine Moreau; daughter-in-law Charlotte Moreau; and Muriel's son Kent Oades. Frank was a respected food broker for over 40 years, working for several companies and eventually establishing his own company, Frank Moreau Brokerage. He loved to golf and was a one time member at Niakwa Country Club and then at Elmhurst Country Club. He spent many happy years at the lake, first at his family cabin on Lake Winnipeg, then at he and Muriel's summer home on Lake of the Woods. He and Muriel loved to travel and had many great trips together. In his later years, he became a member of the Re-Fit Centre and Friendship Force of Winnipeg, where he met many new and wonderful friends. He was very proud of being in the navy in the Second World War and serving his country. Frank was a loving and caring man and will be deeply missed by all his friends and family. The family would like to thank all the staff on 5A at the St. Boniface Hospital for their kindness to Frank and the exceptional care he was given. Frank wished to be cremated and this has taken place. There will be a reception in Frank's memory for family and friends at a future date. Flowers are gratefully declined.
