GERRARD DUCHARME 1945 - 2010 We sadly announce the passing of our beloved son, husband, father and grandfather, Gerrard Ducharme. Left to cherish Gerry's memory is his wife of 39 years, Betty (nee Clarke), his sons, Joe (Rachelle), Clint (Claire) and daughter Cindy (Gerry) Vermette, grandchildren: Makenna, Emma, Wayne, Shelby, Shayle and great-grandchild Emma Geller. He is also survived by his mother Bernadette, brother Norman (Vickie), sisters, Norma (Brian) Barrett, and Dee Wilby and many nieces, nephews as well as Krista, Doug and Jamie, Shauna, Tristan and Austin. He was predeceased by his father Hervey and sister Amy Goodwin. Born in Portage la Prairie MB, resided in Winnipeg with his family, Gerry loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, horse racing were just a few of his passions. But above all Gerry was a big fan of Nascar. When Gerry wasn't on the highway you'd find him watching the Sunday race. Gerry enjoyed being a Poppa most of all. Poppa never missed any sporting event, concert or family gathering. His grandchildren will have very fond memories of walking down to the lake to feed the ducks. A service to celebrate Gerry's life will be held on Tuesday, June 15 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., with interment and reception to follow. Chapel Lawn 885-9715
