JAMES (JIM) MCKENZIE BELL It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dear father, grandfather and great-grandfather on January 29, 2010 at the age of 78 years in the Grace General Hospital. James was born and raised in Winnipeg where he worked as a fire-fighter for the City of Winnipeg for 37 years. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his friends and family. Cremation has taken place and a graveside memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 18, 2010 at Brookside Cemetery (Firefighters Section). Those attending should gather at the cemetery entrance just before 10:00 a.m. Following the service a reception will be held at the Army Navy Airforce Veterans in Canada Unit No. 1, 300-1395 Ellice Avenue. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Firefighters Burn Fund, 303-83 Garry Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 4J9.
