KATHRYN BERARD (ALCOCK) It is with profound sadness that the family announces the passing of our loving wife, mother and grandmother on Sunday, June 13, 2010 at the age of 52 with her family by her side. Kathy is survived by her loving husband Guy Berard, sons Coy (Kristen), Jason and daughter Jamie-Lynn (Chris). She also leaves her three precious grandchildren, Demi, Mackenzie and Madisin. Kathy also leaves to mourn her mother Elizabeth Carruthers, father Terry Alcock (Stella), in-laws Cecile and Charlie Berard, brothers Michael (Tracy), John (Lauren), Brent and Chris Alcock, sister Karen (Murray) Lamoureux and numerous nieces and nephews. Kathy was born April 25, 1958 in Sault Ste Marie, ON and moved to Winnipeg, MB as a young child. Kathy was the matriarch of the family and gave selflessly to her family. Her death has left an immense void in our lives. No words can express the sorrow we are feeling. Her time with us was much too brief and we will miss her immensely. Kathy, we want you to know we will always love you. Flowers are gratefully declined and in lieu, donations can be made to CancerCare Manitoba.

Tomorrow will be your second birthday since you've passed. Also marks dad's 1 year passing anniversary and I'm not sure how I'm going to make it through the day. As I am writing this to you our song happened to come on! Anyways mom I love you and miss you more than words can say. There isn't a single day that passes that I don't think about you!
