Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT ALLAN PEACOCK It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Robert on June 16, 2010 at Pinawa Hospital at the age of 79. Robert was born in Winnipeg on December 18, 1931 and was raised in Fort Rouge. He was 19 when he joined the Navy. He loved playing hockey and was a great baseball pitcher. He met his loving wife Anita and was married on March 6, 1953. Robert worked at C.N., John Martin Warehouse and the Tanco Mines. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #164 and #9 and the Lac du Bonnet Pioneer Club. He loved working around his yard, going to Goldeyes games, watching westerns and sports on T.V., being with his friends at the Pioneer Club, but most of all spending time with his family especially at the cabin at Lee River. Bob leaves to cherish his memory his wife Anita, children, Kerri (Harvey), Bob, Allyson (Jeff), Dale (Shannon), Mark (Tracy), Ken (Susan), grandchildren, Aaron (Vince), Kelly, Lisa, Kaitlyn, T.J. (Tannis), Tyler, Ashlee, David, great-grandchildren, Marley, Paris. He was predeceased by his eldest son Tom in 2006. The family would like to thank Dr. Richard Van Gend and the nurses at Pinawa. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 22 at 11:00 a.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion in Lac du Bonnet, MB. Donations can be made to the Legion. Mosaic Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
