SYLVIA REBIZANT It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our loving wife, mother, sister and friend, Sylvia Rebizant. With her loving family by her side, Sylvia passed away on June 16, 2010, at the age of 51 years. Sylvia is survived by the love of her life Eugene, daughters Melissa Carlson (Nick), Jessica McLeod (Gord), father Nick Rebizant, sisters Wanda Holmberg (Gordon), Theresa Majetic (Zelko), Carol Harrison (Craig), nieces and nephews Kris, Genevieve, Jennifer, Nicole, Evan, Nikolas, Taylor-Raye, Brayden, Hannah and Callie. Sylvia also leaves to cherish her memory her sisters Anne, Irene, Rosalind, Sharon, Susan and LaVerna, brothers Abe, Clarence, Tim, Mark, Ron and Kevin along with their families. Sylvia was predeceased by her mother and father Anne and Abram Wiebe, mother Jean Rebizant and brother Rudy Wiebe. Sylvia's smile and fun-loving spirit will be forever remembered by her family and many friends. Always the life of the party - she was the first to kick up her heels to dance and the first to grab the karaoke mike at family get-togethers. Family meant everything to Sylvia. Marrying Eugene on October 6, 1979, together they raised two beautiful daughters and shared 31 fun years together. Sylvia was a wonderful mom and was always Melissa and Jessica's loudest cheerleader. During her career at TD Canada Trust, she made dear friends and was a favourite amongst many clients. Even throughout her courageous battle with cancer, Sylvia maintained a positive attitude - always smiling and comforting others. Our family extends many thanks to the team at CancerCare St. Boniface - Dr. Wong, Dr Daeninck, Dr. Park and all the wonderful nurses, especially Trish, as well as the Palliative Care team from Selkirk Hospital. We are eternally grateful for your dedication, hard work and kindness. We invite everyone to join us at a memorial service celebrating Sylvia's life at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, June 21, 2010, at St. Anne Ukrainian Catholic Church, 455 Douglas Ave., Winnipeg, with Father Walter Klimchuk officiating.
