Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMILDRED SMITH November 15, 1921 June 4, 2010 Peacefully, at the Victoria General Hospital, Mildred Smith passed away at the age of 88 years. She was predeceased by her loving husband Jack Smith and her sister Lillian Derie. She will be lovingly remembered by her brother Morrie Markell (Anita) and children Faith Slutchuk (Marvin), Deborah Smith (George Stolarskyj), Brian Smith (Pamela Turner), Cheryl Fogel (David). Also left to cherish her memory are her grandchildren and great-grandchildren Sean Slutchuk (Wendy; Sarah and Mila), Lisa Adelman (Daniel; Jenna and Gavin) and Dillon Cherrett (Liane and baby Jack). The family would like to thank the doctors and staff of the Victoria General Hospital, Golden Links Lodge, and her companions Laurie and Sharon for the excellent care and compassion given to Mildred. Funeral services were held on Monday, June 7 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chesed Shel Emes Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mildred's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or a charity of your choice.
