RICHARD CLARENCE BENDELER It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend Richard, on June 22, 2010. Predeceased by his father Crawford Bendeler, his mother Mary Yaschuk, and his eldest daughter Brenda Davies. Richard was born in Moose Jaw, SK on August 11, 1933 where he met his loving wife of 57 years, Mildred. Richard was looked upon as an amazing man to all 11 of his children Brenda, Rick (Linda), Patti (Gerald), Bryan (Carola), Sharon (Dwight), Kathy (Keith), Jo-Anne (Terry), Diane (Gert), Michele (Andy), Steve, Cheryl (Dennis); his 22 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Richards' wishes were to be cremated with a private family gathering to follow in celebration of his life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. A good man is a man to look upon, for wisdom, hope and safety. A good man is always there in your time of need, and will sacrifice his own without thought. A good man will not judge you when you fall, and will be there to pick you up when you do. Richard, you did not only embody the meaning of a good man.... but of a great one! We love you and we'll miss you Big Dick !
