VALERIE JEAN BLAIR (nee LITSTER) On Wednesday, June 16, 2010, Val passed away suddenly in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba at the age of 53 years. Val was born on June 14, 1957 in Hanna, Alberta. At a young age she moved to MacGregor, Manitoba where she lived until moving to Portage after high school. She later moved back to MacGregor where she was introduced to Craig Blair. They married on January 29, 1983. Together they raised their son Chad and daughter Vanessa in Woodside, Manitoba. Val loved her cats and dogs. She always had many flowers around her deck all summer, along with multiple bird feeders. Reading was also something you could find her doing. She also loved to bake. She is survived by her husband Craig; son Chad (Brittany); daughter Vanessa; sister Darlene (Myron); brother John and mother-in-law Dorothy Blair. Valerie was predeceased by her parents John and Jean Litster; sisters Ann Collins and Kathleen Litster as well as her father-in-law Charlie Blair.
