Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARJORIE ELEANOR LOUISE MCCOMBS (nee KEDDIE) May 12, 1916 The Pas, Manitoba Peacefully, in her sleep, Marge passed away, June 10, 2010 in the Cardiac Ward of the Royal Alexandra Hospital, Edmonton. She leaves behind son Doug McCombs; daughter Kerry (Brian) Enns; grandchildren, Jason (Theresa), Jodi (Rob), Jordin (Nichole); great-grandchildren, Brooke, Blake, Madison, MacKenzie, Charlie, Brody and various friends and relatives. Marge was predeceased by mother Eleanor, husband Herb, father Douglas and daughter-in-law Geraldine. Along with her sense of humour, Mom had a strong sense of fairness. She stood up for the underdog and gave freely to those in need. She loved and enjoyed her cottage at the beach for more than 40 years. The pride she took in her work at the Red River Co-op was reflected in the superior relations she had with her co-workers and customers alike. Mom was generous beyond belief and we are proud to say that not only did she work hard but she played hard as well. Mom enjoyed dancing, cards, her game shows, reading, sewing, knitting, shopping and her pet companions, Moochie and Oliver. Mom resided in Beverly Lodge (Edmonton) since December 2008 where she enjoyed many new relationships and winning regularly at Bingo! She thought very highly of the manager and staff. Mom, Grandma and Great-Grandma, thank you for sharing your love and wisdom for so many years and for giving us a chance to say, good-bye and to tell you how much we love you. The celebration of Marge's life will be held at a later date. Any donations in Marge's name may be made to: www.heartandstroke.com or www.housingforseniors.org. Simply Cremations, Edmonton, AB in care of arrangements. (780) 465-6363.
