JEAN VERA ROBINSON Jean Vera Robinson passed away peacefully June 23, 2010 at Grace Hospice. Remaining to mourn her are her girls', granddaughters, Rachel and Rebecca; her sons, Allen and wife Marilyn, Kevin and wife Linda, Martin and wife Tracy; grandson Colin and wife Yvonne and great-granddaughter Katherine, and all of her remaining family in England. Jean will now join her loving husband of 50 years, Henry John Robinson who passed away in 1996, in Heaven. Henry and Jean came to Winnipeg in 1957. Jean spent her years as a master seamstress and manufacturer of custom clothing and wedding dresses for many clients. Jean spent her retirement years actively volunteering her time to organize seniors' activities, including lawn bowling and several trips within Canada and the United States. A celebration of her life will be held at Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Avenue on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Jean wished to give thanks to those that provided care to her over the past several months; Dr. A. Mihalchuk, Dr. J. Gingerich, Dawn C., the staff of Access River East, CancerCare Manitoba, St. Boniface Hospital, everyone at Grace Hospice and her many friends at Riverside Plaza. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made if desired, to the Grace Hospice Foundation or the Winnipeg Humane Society.
