HELEN MARY WILLIAMS (SPENCER) (nee MACPHERSON) Peacefully, on June 20, 2010 in her home at the age of 81, Helen entered into Eternal Life. She was born in Regina, SK on April 25, 1929. Grew up, went to school and was employed in Winnipeg, MB. She will be remembered for the many decades she gave of her time as a volunteer in many organizations, her church, at Bethel Nursing Home and in God's greatest creation the outdoors. Helen lived on the lakeshore of Sandy Hook until Spring of 1984. Following the death of her husband, she moved to Selkirk and later returned to Winnipeg in 2004. A very creative person, she loved knitting and crocheting and her kitchen creations will be missed, especially her vinatarta. At Helen's request, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. Friends are invited to a graveside service Wednesday, June 30 at 2:00 p.m. at the Lutheran Cemetery in Selkirk. In lieu of flowers, she asks you to make a donation to your chosen charity. It would do her proud if you would also consider giving your time and talents to making a difference in the lives of others as a volunteer. There is a destiny that makes us brothers.
