GLADYS CATHERINE JOHNSTONE (nee MAYFIELD) It is with great sadness that the family of Gladys Johnstone announces her passing Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at the age of 88. Gladys was born May 23, 1922 and lived all her life in Winnipeg. Gladys is survived by her two children, Barbara (Lloyd) Dreger and David (Ginette); her grandchildren: Robert (Linnea), Eric (Claude), Brent (Chrissy) Dreger, Julie (Paul) Graham, and Robyn (Clint) Vandersteen; and her great-grandchildren: Jackson and Adria Vandersteen and A.J. Dreger. She was predeceased by her husband John and all five of her siblings In keeping with Gladys' wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Monday, June 28 at 11:00 a.m. in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald St. The family would like to thank St. Boniface and Victoria General Hospitals for the care and dignity provided to Gladys in her final days.
