HEINZ-GEORG ALBERT DANIELS 1922 - 2010 Peacefully, after a brief illness, Heinz passed away at the Victoria General Hospital on May 7, 2010. He was predeceased by his cherished wife Hella and beloved grandson Cory Kusyk. Lovingly remembered by daughters Iris Daniels (Brian), and Karin Kusyk, grandchildren Michelle Emond (Denis) and Stephan Nash, great-grandaughter Chanelle Emond. Dad was born on July 9, 1922 in Stettin, Germany, later settling in Berlin. In 1957, the Daniels family decided to make Winnipeg their home, and became proud Canadians. Heinz Daniels became a household name in the furniture industry, first as owner of Heinz Exclusive Furniture, then as manager of the Interior Design Studio at The Bay. Dad enjoyed golfing with his friends at Elmhurst Golf Club, where he was a member for many years. Mom and Dad travelled extensively and always looked forward to their yearly trips to Florida. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 29 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 65 Walnut at Wolseley. Rest in Peace with Mom! We miss you both! In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Society will be greatly appreciated.
