DAVE EVERT GRIFT Passed away peacefully at the Tiger Hills Personal Care Home on Friday June 25, 2010 at the age of 86 years, Dave Evert Grift, of Holland, MB. Dave leaves to mourn his passing his sister Gertie De Backer of Swan Lake MB, sisters-in-law Laura Grift and Rosella Grift, both of Holland, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Dave was predeceased by his sisters and their spouses: Corrie (John) Gillis, Mary (Jerry) Claeys, Greta (Henri) Verniest, Katherine (Jerome) Verniest, brothers Gerald and Jack Grift and by a brother-in-law Fred De Backer. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the St. John Berchmans Catholic Church, Holland, with Father John McKenzie as celebrant. Prayers will take place at 1:30 p.m. prior to Mass. Interment to follow in the St. John Berchmans Cemetery.
