CRAIG ROBERT BEAR June 2, 1956 - June 26, 2010 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Craig Robert Bear of Scanterbury, MB on June 26, 2010 at the age of 54. Craig was predeceased by his father William (Congi) Bear, his sister Cynthia at infancy, grandparents Harriet and Colin Bear and Catherine (Casey) and John Folster. Craig will be lovingly remembered by his long time partner Annette Coutu and her children, Keith, Jane (Danille) and Jason; his mother Rose Bear (Ken); brothers Raymond (Fran) and Gary; nieces Rachelle Arbez, Cindy ( Pug ) and Kyla (baby Pug ), Shian Bear and nephew Dennis Bear; his traveling buddy A.K. (Sean) Desjarlais and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Craig loved being a trucker; he enjoyed traveling to many different places. He will be missed by his winter road buddies. He was a Volunteer Fire Fighter for Scanterbury Fire Department. He had a passion for playing pool and liked hunting and generously gave the meat away to friends. He will always be remembered for his teasing and great sense of humour. Active pallbearers are Jodie Chief, Anthony Straight, Orton Desjarlais, Brian Bear, Mike Brey, Darryl Sinclair, Walter Greyeyes, and Bradley Sinclair. Honorary Pallbearers will be Wally Bryon, Maryanne Bear and Gordie Carver Sr. (Mama). Funeral service will be held at the Sergeant Tommy Prince School Gym in Scanterbury, MB on Saturday, July 3, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. Gilbart Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
