PAULINE DUXBURY (PARK) Passed away peacefully at the age of 101 years, on Tuesday, June 29, 2010. Pauline will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her daughter Eva (Jim) Hansen; grandchildren, Linda (Vern) Hallson, Randy (Lisa) Duxbury, Cindy King, Ken (Karen) Hansen; great-grandchildren, Scott and Kelsey Hallson, Shaun Duxbury and Devlin Duxbury, Christy and Kimmy King, and Julie-Ann, Jamie and Nadine Hansen; and sister Annie Salateski. Pauline was predeceased by her son Roy Edward Duxbury in 1973. She was born on December 8, 1908. Pauline was a loving, giving, caring and generous person. She struggled to raise her two children, and was proud to work at The Hudson's Bay Company Paddlewheel Restaurant until her retirement. She was an avid knitter and crocheter. She lived for many years at the Canadian Polish Manor helping those many years younger than her. For the last two years, Pauline resided at Golden West Centennial Lodge. We wish to thank the staff for their compassion and excellent care. A graveside service and interment will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, July 5, 2010, Elmwood Cemetery, 88 Hespeler Avenue, Winnipeg. Arrangements entrusted to Cropo Funeral Chapel 586-8044.
