CLARENCE (CURLY) KAUS Peacefully on Tuesday, June 29, 2010, his wife at his side, Clarence Asaph Kaus passed away in his sleep. He is survived by wife Debbie, sons Kevin, Justin, and Kyle, sisters Delores (Brian) Hillman, and Valerie (Ed) Farias, as well as many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by father Asaph and mother Esther. Clarence was born in Winnipeg on February 24, 1943. His early childhood was spent near Spearhill, MB. After moving to Winnipeg, Clarence attended Tec Voc High School, where he took classes in the field of Graphic Design and Printing. While in high school he was offered his first career job. He spent the next four decades working for multiple companies, most notably Jostens. His passion was his guitar, and we now take comfort knowing he's rocking out with Hendrix and Cash. He will be deeply missed by many. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 6 at Chapel Lawn, 4000 Portage Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the CancerCare Manitoba Foundation Inc.
