HAZEL JOHNSON (nee JESMER) On June 30, 2010, Hazel Johnson of Winnipeg passed away at the Victoria Hospital, at the age of 89. Predeceased by her husband, Kris in 1991, and grandson Grant in 1980; Hazel is survived by her children Sylvia (Warren) and Shirley (Walter), her grandchildren, Russell, Cherie (Jack) and Wanda (Doug), her great-granddaughter Miranda; and her sister Phyllis Berens. A Funeral service for Hazel will be held 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 5, 2010 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint). Interment will take place at a later date for the immediate family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba in Hazel's memory.
