CORRINE SHATSKY It is with great sadness that the family of Corrine Shatsky (Shore) announce her passing on Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at the St. Boniface Hospital following a short illness. Born in 1936, Corrine was predeceased by her parents Doris and Myer Shore, also predeceased by sister Lorraine Hurtig, brothers Morton and Lawrence Shore (Vancouver). Corrine graduated from St. Johns High School. She worked at Monarch Life Assurance Company and then spent ten years at GBR Associates, Architects and Engineers. She started as a Specs Typist and worked her way up to become Secretary to the President. She married Rick Shatsky in 1968 and took ten years off to raise her children, Myles and his sister Patti (Charach). Corrine and Rick were blessed with a grandson Samuel. The family was also recently blessed with the birth of Carrie Charach on June 25. Interment took place at Shaarey Zedek Memorial Park on Thursday, June 17. Pallbearers were Richard and Dr. Jonas Watson, Myles Weiner, Myles Shatsky, Clyde and Neil Hurtig. Thank you to Dr. E.
