PATRICIA JANE SHULE (nee WALTERSON) October 7, 1942 - May 23, 2010 Pat passed away peacefully at Brandon Regional Hospital on May 23, 2010, surrounded by her family. She leaves to mourn her husband of 43 years, Frank; her children, Brent of Winnipeg, Jamey (Sheryl) of Killarney, Todd (Shannon) of Vermilion, AB and Stacey of Winnipeg; her beloved grandchildren, Taylor and Brennan of Killarney and Graeden and Griffin of Vermilion; her sister Heather Walterson (Ron) of Qualicum Beach, BC, as well as a large extended family. Patty was predeceased by her baby brother Douglas in 1946 and by her parents, Martha Jane in 1967 and Einar in 1979. Pat was devoted to her family; she was a loving wife and a wonderful mother and Amma. She will be missed enormously by her loved ones. Pat was raised in Selkirk, MB and later trained as a teacher. Her career took her to Killarney, MB where she met and married her husband Frank. Together they built a farm business and raised their four children. She was a strong supporter of her community and was involved in a wide variety of community projects and events. Pat was a kind and loving person whose generous spirit touched all who knew her. She will be remembered fondly by her family and many friends. Funeral services were held in Killarney on May 27, 2010, followed by interment in the Killarney Cemetery. Donations in Pat's memory may be made to Killarney Hospital, Box 5000, Killarney, MB R0K 1G0 or The Shamrock Centre, Box 820, Killarney, MB R0K 1G0. Killarney Funeral Home was in care of the arrangements.
