ROBERT MURRAY With sad hearts we announce that Robert Murray unexpectedly passed away in his sleep on July 1, 2010 at the age of 70 in Winnipeg. Bob deeply loved his children and grand-children. He loved to share a story, watch a good movie, sit by a campfire, drive his truck, enjoy a good meal, play cards, and visit with family and friends. He was born in Halifax, NS on September 9, 1939. He left home in his teens to join the army and then began his life career as a truck driver. He was diagnosed with cancer in 2003 The constant struggle with the after effects of treatment was difficult but Dad continued to smile and take one day at a time. He will always live in our hearts. For nothing loved is ever lost and he was loved so much. Bob was predeceased by Pat Weiss and is survived by Pam Kasick, Paddi (Ross) Mohr, Darcey (Aarron) Orosz, Amber (Jim) Heatherington, Ward (Tracy) Hill; their mother Marleen Hill, numerous grandchildren and all his friends he made wherever he stopped. A private family service will be held.
