ELEANOR JOYCE ISFELD Peacefully on July 3, 2010, Eleanor Joyce Isfeld passed away at the age of 79 years. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Oliver Isfeld; daughter Donna Van De Walle (Bret) and granddaughters Mya and Isla. Eleanor was born in Winnipeg on July 26, 1930; the only daughter to Arthur and Gladys Yeardye. She married Oliver in 1957. During her early years Eleanor dreamed of becoming a nurse. However she soon realized that raising a family was her true ambition and she became a dedicated mother when Donna was born in 1967. The Isfeld family lived on Cordova Street for 27 years and Eleanor enjoyed selling Avon for 25 of them. In addition to her husband and daughter, Eleanor loved and cherished the four-legged members of her family. She was blessed with the birth of two granddaughters: Mya in 2005 and Isla in 2009. Music was also very important to her and her wish for everyone would be to have a song in one's heart. Following Mom's wishes cremation has taken place and friends are invited to celebrate her life in their own way.
