MARCELLE DESROCHERS (nee SOURISSEAU) November 11, 1942 July 3, 2010 Passed away peacefully with her immediate family by her side at Kingston General Hospital. Wife of Leo Desrochers, daughter of Marc and Alice Sourisseau, she will be dearly missed by her husband Leo, father Marc, her sons Michel (Mitch) and Paul, their wives Christine and Ruby, her loving grandchildren Jena, Madison, Patrick and Thomas, her brother Nicolas, her sister Lorraine, other family and very close friends. She was born and raised in St. Boniface, Manitoba. When she married Leo on August 10, 1963, their incredible life journey started with homes in Winnipeg, Montreal, Mississauga, Toronto, West Palm Beach and cottage life in St-Adolphe D'Howard and Haliburton. Throughout her life, family was her source of great pride and joy. She was the best wife, partner, mom, grandma and big sister in the world. Her warmth, kindness, support, care and love left a profound impression on all the people that meant the most to her. Her very close friends meant so much to her as well. They had the opportunity to do and see many things and places in their time together. Marcelle always had a kind word to say to people she met and her incredible warmth and care touched everyone she came to know. A private service was held at Turner and Porter funeral homes, Yorke Chapel in Toronto on Tuesday, July 6. In memoriam donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada. She will be loved and missed and memories of her will live on forever.
