LAURIE NAN READY-DRINKLE It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Laurie on Thursday, July 8, 2010. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by daughter Carolyne Palmer, mother Vera Ready (of Sicamous), sister Susan Ready (Frank Manicone), partner in crime Rohn Minshull, nieces Phoenix and Allison, nephews Peter and Colin, special friends Bonnie and Billy and many other friends. She was predeceased by her father Ken Ready in July 2008. We would like to send our appreciation to the wonderful staff and special friends Ellen and Caroll who took care of Laurie in the Palliative Care Unit at Riverview Health Centre. Visitation will take place on Sunday, July 11, 2010 between 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. in Winnipeg. A celebration of her life will take place at Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, on Monday, July 12, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will take place at Eagle Valley and District Cemetery in Sicamous, BC on Friday, July 16, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Riverview Health Centre, 1 Morley Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3L 2P4.
