JACK DUNCAN GODFREY April 10, 1917 - July 6, 2010 Sadly, on July 6, 2010, Jack passed away at Beacon Hill Lodge at the age of 93 years. Jack was predeceased by his loving wife, Edna, last April and his younger brother, Bill in 1985. He is lovingly remembered by his son, Richard, daughter, Judy, sister Ethel Turner, nieces and nephews, good family and friends and cat, Nutmeg. Jack was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba and served with the R.C.A.F. overseas during the Second World War for five years. He married Edna in 1942 and they enjoyed over 68 years of marriage. Jack worked for the Hudson's Bay Company (Northern Stores Division) for 43 years until his retirement in 1982. Special thanks to the staff at Beacon Hill Lodge for taking care of Mom and Dad. Memorial service will be held on Monday, July 12, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd., (south of the Royal Canadian Mint).
