KURTIS LAWRENCE LEVEQUE 1961 - 2010 It is with heavy hearts that Larry and Anne (Telke) Leveque announce the passing of Kurtis Lawrence Leveque on July 7, 2010. He was predeceased by his mother Theresa in 1991 and his only sister Lori Anne in 1981, and we are comforted knowing that they are now reunited. He will be sadly missed by his two sons Harley Sheldon and Hayden Taylor and their mother Carol. Kurtis thoroughly enjoyed the support of his extended step family and friends. Many friendships were made during his 30 plus years of employment at CN Railway. As well as meeting his love Dianne MacLean, whom he shared the last two years with. He found his piece of paradise at his home in St. Andrews, where he sat on his deck, enjoying all kinds of wildlife that came to drink and nest in his pond. Kurtis had many dreams and grand plans that time didn't allow him to finish. Pallbearers will be Tim Shaw, Gord Leiss, Ed Gobeil, Myron Chunick, Harley and Hayden Leveque. Special thanks goes out to our families and friends for your love and support through this difficult time, as well as the Doctors and nurses at the Selkirk General Hospital and Health Sciences Centre for showing the utmost care and compassion for Kurtis. A memorial service will be held Monday, July 12, 2010, at 1:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk, MB. Reception will follow the service at the Royal Canadian Legion basement hall. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
