VERA INGEBJORG STEVENSON Peacefully, Vera Ingebjorg Stevenson passed away February 4, 2010 at the Middlechurch Home. Vera was born March 18, 1923 in Winnipegosis, Manitoba. She is survived by sisters Alda Tait, Annetta Irelan, and brothers Freeman Stevenson (Claire), and Leslie Stevenson (Lynne). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Vera was predeceased by her parents, Margaret and Vigbald, as well as sisters Thelma Whale, Mae Medd, Halldora Stevenson and Thora Oliver. Vera worked for the City of Winnipeg for many years as a public health nurse. Prior to that she worked in England, Toronto, Vancouver and Flin Flon. She enjoyed her travels, especially her trips to Iceland. A service in her memory will be held at the Winnipegosis Cemetery on Monday, July 12 at 1:30 p.m. The family wish to thank the staff at the Middlechurch Home for their wonderful care during Vera's last years.
