ADELARD (HAPPY) HUPE Suddenly, on July 9, 2010, Happy passed away at St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 76. Happy is survived by his loving wife Joan; children, Jeannine (Tom), Joni (Mario), Danny (Ruth), Patti (Lyn); grandchildren, Colleen, Krissy, Tony; stepgrandchildren, Tanya and Joey; brothers, Pete (Terry), Edgar (Lorraine), Noel (Inga); and sister Myra (Dave). He was predeceased by granddaughter Jennifer; parents, Flora and Arthur Hupe; brothers, Bernard and Leonard; sister Mabel. Happy was born on October 16, 1933 in Ste. Anne, MB and moved to Winnipeg as a young child. He retired from Sullivan Strong Scott after 40 years. Happy loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff at St. Boniface Hospital for their care and compassion. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 14 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, 252 Dubuc Street. A private family interment to follow.
