PETER FROESE FUNK December 4, 1927 - July 12, 2008 Every day in some small way Memories of you come our way Though absent you are always near, Still missed, loved, always dear. Our hearts still ache in sadness, Our silent tears still flow, For what it meant to lose you Dad, No one will ever know. They say memories are golden, Well maybe that is true, But we never wanted memories, We only wanted you. An understanding heart and intelligent mind, We miss you Dad You were one of a kind. Your presence we miss Your memory we treasure, Loving you always, Forgetting you never. We love you and miss you your loving wife, Ruth, your nine children (nine in-laws), 21 grandchildren and three great-granddaughters and one great grandson.
