Jaswinder was predeceased by her husband Surjit Singh Sandhu in 1996. She will be tenderly missed by her son Jagroop Singh Sandhu, daughters Virpal Kaur Cheema (Ranjit), Amandeep Kaur Sidhu (Jagmeet) and Sandeep Kaur Khaira (Kamaldeep) and grandson Jastaj.
