LAWRENCE KINGSLEY TRAVERS (JOEJAN) June 7, 1938 - July 18, 2010 Peacefully, passed away at the age of 72 years. He leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife Margaret E. Traverse, children: Sonia Traverse (Bill), Dean (Rhonda), Ida Traverse (Brian), Langford (Evangeline), Don Stewart, Clint (Sheree), Justin (Rene) Ardell and Wayne Woodhouse whom raised as his own. Brother Alexander Traverse, sisters: Eva Woodford and Susan Travers, sister-in-law Carrie Traverse, 32 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, numerous extended family and friends. A wake service will be held at Deliverance Church, 1831 Selkirk Ave., Winnipeg from 7:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 22, 2010. A wake service will also be held at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, July 23, 2010 and funeral service will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at the Day of Pentecost at Lake St. Martin First Nation with Pastor Alex Marsden officiating. Interment will follow at the Lake St. Martin Cemetery. Special thanks to the Doctors and Nursing staff of Clinic #1 at CancerCare Manitoba.
