GLORIA J. MUNROE Peacefully at home, after a courageous battle with cancer, Gloria passed away on Tuesday, July 20, 2010, with her husband by her side. She was predeceased by her parents, Earl Wright and Carrie Dignum, sisters-in-law Julie and Lena, nephew Nicholas, nieces Audrey and Loretta, uncle Earl, and mother-in-law Victoria Munroe. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 22 years, George, stepchildren, Dan (Heather) and Sylvia (Chad) and her grandson Jasper. She will also be missed by her brother Ken Wright, numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, many aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews as well as her childhood friend, Cathy McKough and her co-workers at Home Care. The family would like to thank Dr. Marianne Krahn at CancerCare St. Boniface, all the emergency personal, nurses and staff on the 5th Floor St. Boniface, the Palliative Care Team of the WRHA who showed compassion in Gloria's final days at home. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and CancerCare Manitoba. A wake will take place on Thursday, July 22 from 7:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street. Funeral service and reception will be held on Friday, July 23 at 2:00 p.m. also at Glen Eden Funeral Home. Chapel Lawn 885-9715
