RITA (TICO) PELOQUIN (nee LUSSIER) February 2, 1927 - July 21, 2010 Rita (Tico) Peloquin passed away grace-fully with family at her side at the DeSalaberry District Hospital. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Roland, in 1993 and leaves her five children to mourn her passing, Paulette (Remi) St. Hilaire, Lucille Edwards, Carol Genest, Mona Peloquin and Marc (Laurie) Peloquin. She was a grandmother to seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Rita worked hard all her life and was well known for her baking, crocheting and sewing, for which she won prizes at local fairs. She had many friends and enjoyed life to the fullest. Rita and Roland delighted in the many pleasures of life, including activities such as curling, golfing, snowmobiling, playing cards. In their life as retired snow birds, they travelled and thoroughly enjoyed camping in both Canada and the United States. Rita supported many causes and was always generous in helping people in times of need. Special thanks to Dr. Migally and the excellent hospital staff as well as the many friends, neighbours and relatives for their endless comfort, support and love. Please join us for The Celebration of Tico's Life which will be held on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at the St. Pierre Recreational Centre at noon.
