LORRAINE MARIE RETTALER (nee St. Cyr) Lorraine's sun rose June 13, 1954 and set peacefully with family by her side on July 20, 2010 at St. Boniface Hospital. Celebrating her life are long-time fiancé Mark Eversley; daughters Nicole and Colleen; grandchildren Nathan and Kaitlyn; parents Fred and Bertha Thiessen; sisters Linda, Lorette (Denis), and Lil; nieces and nephews Allisson (Bill), Melanie, Serge, Chantal, Chris, and Cole; great-nieces Ashley and Naomi; and numerous extended family members and friends. In keeping with Lorraine's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private memorial service will be held. The family wishes to express our sincerest thanks to Dr. Joel Gingrich and Cheryl Greaves, and to the exceptional team of doctors and nurses at the St. Boniface Hospital Palliative Care Unit for their compassionate care of our beloved Lorraine in her final days.
