Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDENIS MCDONALD 24 Mai 1925 - 23 Juillet 2010 Denis (McDonald) passed on peacefully surrounded by his loving family on July 23, 2010 at Riverview Health Centre. He was a loving husband of 63 years to Ethel (Myslowka), a wonderful father and father-in-law to Denyse and Rod Tustin and a fantastic grandfather to Michael and Natalie. He was a fun loving uncle to many nieces and nephews, and a friend to his many in-laws. He was predeceased by his parents, seven brothers, and three sisters. Born and raised in Abitbi, Quebec, Denis started his career in hard rock mining, later moving to Montreal to participate in the building of the Metro Subway system. After several years of retirement in the laurentians, Denis and Ethel moved to Winnipeg in 1998 to be close to their daughter and her family. Denis will be fondly remembered by many for his gentle, giving nature, and his love of life. Daddy I miss you. We wish to thank Dr. Crow and the staff at Riverview Health Centre Palliative care unit. In lieu of flowers the family requests that a donation be made to the Manitoba Lung Association at 629 McDermot Avenue. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue with interment to follow. Chapel Lawn 885-9715
