Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVICTOR LITTAU Suddenly on July 24, 2010 at Health Sciences Centre, Victor Littau, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, passed away at the age of 75 years. Besides his wife Margret he is survived by: daughters Gabriele (Neil), Brigitte (Ron) and Monica (Garry), seven grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. He also leaves to mourn his passing: sister Irene (Horst) and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Katharine and Wilhelm. Victor was born on September 28, 1934 in Josefsthal, Ukraine. In 1942 his family moved to Germany and in June 1956 they immigrated to Winnipeg, Canada. In September 1958 he went back to Germany and married the love of his life, Margret, on November 13. They returned to Winnipeg in January 1959 to raise their family in the West End and eventually moved to the current home in West St. Paul. Victor spent 34 years working for Versatile Manufacturing and retired from there in 1991. He was a dedicated member of the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church and the Kolping Society for 47 years and was always dependable. Victor loved his family, fixing things, camping, and his vacations in Cuba. He will be missed and remembered by many people. The family would like to thank the following: West St. Paul EMS, West St. Paul R.C.M.P., and Health Sciences Centre Emergency staff. Viewing will be held on July 29, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial being celebrated at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's German Roman Catholic Church, 355 Andrews St. (at Mountain Avenue) with Fr. Kevin Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Glen Eden Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
