HARTWIG HEIN Suddenly, on July 28, 2010, Hartwig Hein, beloved husband of Elizabeth Hein passed away at the age of 71 years. Besides his wife Elizabeth, Hartwig is survived by one daughter Lydia (Brent) Hiebert and two grandchildren Naomi and Zackary. He is further survived by one sister Elly (Hermann) Kroupa, and one brother Manfred (Daisy) Hein, both in Germany. Hartwig worked for C.P.R. (Weston Shops) as a carman for 25 years. Elizabeth thanks the off-duty paramedic and firefighter who came to assist her at Birds Hill Park. Also thanks to the E.R. staff at Concordia Hospital and the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit staff at St. Boniface Hospital. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main Street, with interment to follow in Brookside Cemetery. Viewing prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Concordia Hospital or St. Boniface Hospital.
