FLORENCE ESTHER BUHR Florence Esther Buhr was born September 2, 1924 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She passed away peacefully at The Eastview Personal Care Home in Altona, on Friday, July 30, 2010 at the age of 85. She was predeceased by her parents Jacob and Agnes Broesky, husband Lawrence Buhr, son Mark Buhr, Grandsons: Timothy Mark Buhr and Curtis Roy Buhr, son Raymond (Skip) Buhr and daughter-in-law JoAnne Doreen Buhr. She was also predeceased by her 12 sisters and two brothers. She leaves to mourn her daughter Rita and husband David Wiebe, one son Aaron and three daughters: Christie (husband Ian), great-grandchildren Ezra and Aria, Kelly and Darcy (fiancé Mitchell); Son Curt and wife Deb and three boys: Jeremy, Tyler, Lorne (wife Carie), great-grandchildren Xander and Mya; Son Les and wife Muriel, grandchildren Tyson and Brandy Jo; Daughter Cindy and husband Gord Smith, grandchildren Scott, Desiree and Troy As well as one sister. A Funeral Service for Florence was held Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at the Bergthaler Mennonite Church in Gretna, Manitoba. Dr. Reverend Lesley Calder of the Altona United Church officiated. Burial took place at the Gretna Cemetery. Donations in memory of Florence may be made to the Altona District Palliative Care Program.
