LORNE TODD WEISS On Saturday, July 31, 2010; Lorne died at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 49 years. Remaining to forever cherish Todd's memory are Barbara Banting, with whom he shared a life for 20 years; his mother Mary; sister Tammy (Patrick) Cannon; nieces Beth, Josie, Abigail; as well he will also be missed by his many relatives. He was predeceased by his father, Mel Weiss. Todd was born in St. Boniface on May 12, 1961. He lived in Garson, MB during his early childhood and spent his later childhood and teenage years in Neepawa, MB. He resided in Winnipeg throughout his adult years. Todd's academic accomplishments included a BA from the U of Winnipeg, and Film Production from Confederation College in Thunder Bay. At the time of his death he was working for Service Canada within the Federal Government. On Saturday, August 7 Todd's Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel of Memories in Wojcik's Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main Street at Manitoba Avenue. The family wishes to extend a Thank you to the paramedics and emergency staff at Neepawa Memorial Hospital; the staff at the St. Boniface MS- ICU as well as special thanks to Margaret and Marcel for their compassion during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Todd's memory to a charity of choice.
