WERNER NICKELMANN 1925 - 2010 Peacefully on August 2, 2010 at Maples Personal Care Centre, Werner Nickelmann passed away at the age of 84 years. He left us to join his beloved wife Waltraud (Mama) of 60 years who passed away in April 2010. He is survived by daughter Karin, son Michael, grandson Chris (Amber) and great-grandson Caleb. Werner came to Canada in 1954 and Mama and Karin joined him a year later. He worked numerous jobs, one being for the City of Winnipeg, Parks and Recreation. Werner was a member of the German Society of Winnipeg for 27 years. His passions were gardening, and most of all spending time with his family. Werner was a gentle man who will be missed by many. Memorial Service to be held on Friday, August 6, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street, interment and reception to follow. Should friends so desire, donations may be made in Werner's name to the Winnipeg Humane Society. Glen Eden Funeral Home 338-7111
