Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELSIE LEBLEU (nee LEMPEN) October 24, 1921 - July 12, 2010 On Monday, July 12, 2010, Elsie passed away at the King City Rehab and Living Centre in Portland, OR at the age of 88 years. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Leo in 1986; parents John and Elizabeth; in-laws Euclid and Maria; brothers John and Walter; sisters-in-law Grace, Carol, Alice, Bertha, Irene and Deanna; brothers-in-law Hubert, Albert and Rene. Elsie was born and raised in Woodridge, MB. She married Leo in 1938. They later moved to Winnipeg. In 1957 they left for California. There she worked for Bell Telephone until her retirement. She later moved to Portland, OR to be near her family. She loved travelling, music and dancing. She touched the lives of many and held a special place in her heart for all of us. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Eleanor (Art); grandchildren Judy (Scott), Gary, and Neal (Aimee); great-grandchildren Jacob, Alex and Kady; brothers Percy (Lea), Gordon (Lil); sister Rose; brother-in-law Dennis (Helen); sisters-in-law Irene, Dona, Georgette, Lorraine, Jeannine and many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Though her smile is gone forever And her hand we cannot touch We still have so many memories Of the one we loved so much
