ELSE KLEINHOLZ Else Kleinholz (nee Schmidt) died Sunday afternoon after a short battle with cancer. She is predeceased by her parents, Oskar and Helene Schmidt, her husband Herman, her brother Werner and her brother-in-law Gunter. She is survived by her sister Leni, her children Angie, Connie (Patrick) and Dirk (Rita), her grandchildren Charmaine (Eric), Jason (Linda), Tyson and Ashleigh, and her seven great-grandchildren. In the 1980s Else retired and spent her leisure time golfing and travelling to Arizona with her husband and many friends. After losing Herman to cancer in 1989, she spent part of her winters in Hallandale Beach, Florida where she made many new friends at Golden Bay Lodge. Else had been blessed with quick wit, good health and an active lifestyle for most of her life. She had the honour to have great friends in Joan, Pat, Arlene, Bill and June, Tom and Ailene and many who have gone before her. Thank you to Dr. Bovell and his team at St. Boniface Hospital, and to Mary Ashcroft, Monique, Maryanne and the rest of the Palliative Care Team and Home Care providers for her care, comfort and dignity during her final weeks. Else's wishes are for there to be no memorial or funeral service. After cremation there will be a private interment, and she will lie next to her beloved Herman at Thomson In the Park on McGillivray Boulevard. Else from your family and friends, you will be Forever Remembered, Forever Loved. THOMSON IN THE PARK 925-1120 Condolences may be sent to www.thomsoninthepark.com
