MARGARET GRESCH (nee WILSON) It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Margaret Gresch on Thursday, August 19, 2010 at the Beausejour Hospital. Margaret was predeceased by her husband Joseph, parents Robert and Elizabeth Wilson, three brothers Nelson, George and Wilfred, three sisters Verena, Violet and Helen. Left to cherish Margaret's memory are her daughter Jo-Anne (Pierre) Vermette, siblings Ada, Agnes, Cecil (Jean), sister-in-law Ann Lee (Ron), and many nieces and nephews. Margaret was born on January 28, 1924 in Glenella, Manitoba, and attended the Goodland school. Later she moved to Winnipeg and married Joseph, they had one daughter Jo-Anne Joan. Margaret worked at Eaton's most of her life, first in the Dress Department and then in the Fur Department. Margaret always enjoyed curling, dancing, working in her garden and going to the lake. After retiring at the age of 65, she enjoyed travelling with her friends and spending time at the farm where she loved all her animal friends. Respecting Margaret's wishes cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at the Elmwood Cemetery, 88 Hespeler Ave. at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Margaret's name to the Alzheimer's Society of Manitoba, 10-120 Donald St., Winnipeg, Manitoba R3C 4G2.
