LENA HOFFMAN 1929 - 2010 Lena, 81, of Steinbach, passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at Bethesda Hospital. She is survived by one sister, two sisters-in-law, numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Albert, three brothers and one sister. The funeral service will be held Saturday, August 28 at 10:30 a.m. at Steinbach Mennonite Church, 345 Loewen Blvd., Steinbach with viewing at the church prior to the service. Interment at Lowe Farm Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations may be made to Mennonite Central Committee, 134 Plaza Drive, Winnipeg, MB R3T 5K9. I truly remember you as a teacher, I loved you being my teacher. You would be outside monitoring the recess n would see kids play n I would remember u saying that was quite a wallop when a child would hit another child n would go over n talk to the child. I remember u being very fair with students n it was much appreciated. I’m reminiscing bout childhood memories n came across ur name n Happy Thought listing.
