DAVID B. UNGER It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear father, David, on August 25, 2010 at the age of 89. Dad was predeceased by his wife Anne (1995), son Melvin (2007), second wife Elda (2006), grandson Randolph David (1964). He will be greatly missed by his daughters: Marlene (Richard), Phyllis (Ken), Susan (Paul); daughter-in-law Nettie; seven grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and their spouses and 10 great-grandchildren. He moved to St. Norbert Personal Care Home on December 9, 2009, and we would like to give a big thank-you to the staff for the wonderful care he received. The funeral service for David Unger will be held Monday, August 30, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 150 Penfeld Drive, Steinbach, MB, with Pastor Bruce Logan officiating. Interment will take place at Memorial Cemetery, Steinbach. Viewing will be held Sunday, August 29, at 7:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Faith to Live By, Box 426, Winnipeg, MB R3C 2H6. 2 Timothy 4:6-7 For I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time has come for my departure.
