AGATHE PETERS (nee KROEKER) Peacefully on August 21, 2010 at Bethania Personal Care Home, Agathe passed away at the age of 88 years. She is survived by her children: Katarina (Jakob) Vogt, Chico Peters, Garry (Alison) Peters, Herman (Jackie) Peters, Maria Helene Peters and Henry (Bobby) Peters; 11 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren; sisters Katharina, Maria, Anna and Susie; sisters-in-law Ann, Linde and Katie; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Agathe was predeceased by her parents Abram and Agatha, brothers Jakob, Abram, Heinrich and Hans. Mom was a strong believer in natural medicine and spent the last years trying to help many people through homeopathy treatments. She was fiercely independent. Surviving the Second World War and having her family split, Mom took it upon herself to locate each sibling and bring the family back together. This continues with the relocation of her eldest daughter in 1959. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Springfield Heights Mennonite Church, 570 Sharron Bay. Special thank you to the staff at Bethania Personal Care Home for the care and compassion given to Mom and her family during her stay.
