EILEEN SPROULE With deepest sadness, I announce that after a hard fought battle against cancer Eileen Sproule, aged 49 years passed away peacefully on August 31, 2010 with her daughter Megan (Channing) and grandson Cole by her side at the Riverview Health Centre. Born in Winnipeg on the 15 of May 1961, she was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Isabella O'Brien in 2004. She is survived by and left to mourn her daughter Megan (Channing) and her grandson Cole, along with many friends and family. Eileen was an amazing women, she was a hard worker who worked as a health care aid for 30 years at Middlechurch Nursing home, she was admired and cherished by many residents and co-workers. Eileen was a very quiet private woman, however she was always there to offer a helping hand to one. She dedicated her life as a caregiver, mother, grandmother and a wife. She spent her time outdoors gardening and relaxing, enjoying life. I would like to thank the staff at Riverview Health Centre for keeping my mom comfortable and peaceful in this final stretch. With her wings fully grown and a halo above her head, she has set off to her new home, to be greeted by familiar smiling faces, no more pain and sorrow, just a world filled with happiness. I love you mom, you are the most amazing person I have ever known and I hope in this last year I have shown you that I am all grown up and can face this world alone. I hope all the care I provided you was up to your standards! :) All this time we have spent together over the past months, I'll cherish forever. You were my rock, though I was yours. Now my angel. xoxox A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, September 2nd (today) at 5:30 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel in Selkirk, MB. A luncheon will follow the service at the Royal Canadian Legion basement Hall in Selkirk. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
